‘Lobster Boy’
Grady Stiles Jr. was born in 1937 in Pittsburgh, and had a congenital defect know as ectrodactyly, which had been present in his family for several generations. Fans of American Horror Story: Freak Show will recognise that Stiles was the original Jimmy Darling, and Stiles was even a headliner at several “Freak Show” carnivals across the United States.
His handicap left him unable to walk, but because he constantly used his massive arms to move he developed extraordinary upper- body strength, allowing him to deliver violent pinches, punches, and choke-holds to any and all who opposed him.
Despite his unusual appearance, Stiles grew to be a man of grandiose and had a large amount of self-confidence, he was certainly no stranger to sexual encounters gloating that: “Everyone I have sex with wants to have sex with my claws!”
